Southwest Airlines Extends Bookable Flight Schedule Into November

Southwest Airlines customers are now able to make reservations for flights operated by the budget carrier until November 2, 2024.

Prior to this, the airline had expanded its flight schedule to an all-time peak of 4,526 departures by August 4, 2024.

In addition to its recent modernization announcements, the airline has now declared its intention to establish seasonal service between Nashville and Richmond, as well as between Memphis and Las Vegas.

Southwest will commence uninterrupted service between Memphis and Las Vegas from Thursdays through Mondays, effective October 3. 

Sunday-only nonstop service between Nashville and Richmond will commence on October 6.

On October 5, seasonal weekend uninterrupted service between Nashville and Cancun, Mexico recommences one day earlier than usual.

Southwest will also reinstate weekend seasonal nonstop service between Phoenix and Cancun and Austin and Los Cabos, Mexico, commencing on October 5.

Additionally, on October 5, seasonal service will resume between San Antonio and Cancun, Fort Lauderdale and Montego Bay, Jamaica, Kansas City and Los Cabos, and Sacramento and Los Cabos. Previously, this service was only available on Saturdays.
